Multi-million seller Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition gets its first DLC this month with the bristling bargain that is Skin Pack 1. More than 40 skins are included, many of which have been teased over the course of July so far, including a skin of Rare's adventurous Honey Bear Banjo in the batch revealed late last week.

Today we can break the news that Banjo is not alone in representing his franchise, as sister Tooty, ever-helpful mole pal Bottles, cackling nemesis Gruntilda and her fan-favourite minion Klungo all join in the fun. Here's the Xbox PR announcement:

"With the upcoming release of the highly anticipated 1.7.3 title update to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition in July, we're giving our 2.5 million players the ability to change their character skin! Players will be able to choose between the 8 Steves in the game by default and another 40+ cool skins for those that purchase the first Skin Pack DLC. Want to try before you buy? No problem – there will be a trial version of the Skin Pack allowing players to use some skins for free with the ability to see all the other skins, too. We can't disclose everything in the pack just yet, but we can tell you that they're not Steves! It will be a mixture of skins based on other game IPs in addition to more generic character skins. We'll disclose more information and pricing details as we get closer. In fact, screenshots just may be appearing every few days on PlayXBLA.com to give you clues on the new skins!"

Skin Pack 1 will be available for only 160 MSP, with the Banjo-Kazooie skins and many other crossover appearances from the worlds of Halo, Trials, 'Splosion Man and more, later in July.
